The AL-KO Safety Compact anti-theft device is made of high-strength steel and thus provides anti-theft protection for the AKS 3004 and AKS 1300 stabiliser couplings as well as the AK 160 coupling head. As the Safety Compact was developed to fit these hitches exactly, the lock can be fitted very easily – without any complicated assembly.

The AL-KO Safety Compact can be used as an anti-theft device whether the trailer is hitched or unhitched. That means the Safety Compact does not have to be attached at every stopover while travelling and removed again a few minutes later. When unhitched, the AL-KO Safety Ball perfectly complements the Safety Compact as it is inserted in the place for the coupling head.

The Safety Compact is one of three lock variants for the AKS 3004. While the Safety Compact impresses with its great price-performance ratio, the Safety Plus and Premium variants offer even better anti-theft protection.

Unfortunately, no anti-theft device for caravans can ever offer 100 percent protection. That’s because, with enough time and equipment, a determined thief can get around any protective measure. However, anti-theft devices such as the Safety Compact can always increase the time and effort required. For those who want more protection, the Safety Plus with integrated drill protection or the multi-certified Safety Premium offer an extra level of protection beyond the Safety Compact variant.
