By modifying the existing suspension, such as by replacing the axle link and torsion bar, the air bellows can take over 33 per cent of the suspension tasks. Installing the Air Plus additional air suspension

The original suspension in your motorhome consists of a steel suspension with three torsion bar springs per axle side. When converting to Air Plus, we remove one of the torsion bars on each side and install the air bellows at these points, which spring individually and more gently than steel springs can.
