New generation of AL-KO VTE touchscreen panels: sleeker and smarter than ever

The new panels can communicate any event simply and quickly via the mobile network and their integrated Onda connectivity. For example, they can send a notification to the owner’s phone indicating an excessive change in temperature, an attempted intrusion, or a low water tank. The user can remotely turn on the air conditioner or boiler on their return from a day out, or check whether the service batteries are sufficiently charged.

The new control panels come with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing remote connection to smartphones or tablets. Both the 7-inch and 10-inch screens are fully touch-sensitive, boasting a modern and functional look. The 4.3-inch version, on the other hand, features a very compact design, where the touch function is provided via the display and three capacitive buttons for those who prefer a more nostalgic feel. The power consumption of all panels in standby mode is extremely low and poses no problem for the batteries.

The use of advanced materials and technologies has allowed AL-KO VTE to create extremely thin panels that are almost completely bezel-less, maximizing the available space. These new panels can be integrated into any design thanks to their clean and simple installation. The interface graphics mirror those of the Onda app but can be customized on request. The panels also have a ‘night mode’ function that prevents unwanted illumination inside the vehicle overnight.

The new AL-KO VTE panels are designed for OEM use, although aftermarket installation for specific applications is possible. The graphic interfaces can be customized for specific requirements when ordering. Operating system updates can be enabled directly from the device via the internet connection or the Onda app.
